Ryan Adams - Jacksonville Skyline
Live at Carnegie Hall 12/6/2011
I kind of had a freakout when he pulled out this gem.
10. “Ashes & Fire” - Ryan Adams
Ryan Adams needed a break from Ryan Adams. After he released the final & awful Cardinals record, “Cardinology” in 2008, he retired from music. He got married, treated his inner-ear disease, and put himself in a better place. This mostly acoustic, mellow record is a great comeback, and is his best since 2005’s “29” (IMO). Ryan releasing good albums again is something that contributed to 2011 being great, and it deserves a spot on my best-of listl
I walked in hoping for 4 songs. I got to hear 3! Chalk that up to be a great show right there!
Also, playing My Blue Manhattan?! Seriously?
