9. Wilco - The Whole Love

Wilco is a perennial favorite of mine. Anytime they come touring around, I make a great effort to see them. And every time they release an album, it usually ends up on a best of list of mine. While both Sky Blue Sky & (The Album) had their moments, they didn’t match up to previous albums, and I listened to the older records more in the end. I’ll make the case that The Whole Love is their best since A Ghost is Born, and that it will be remembered especially for the best song they’ve recorded in YEARS, “Art of Almost.” The record is really hooky, and I think will stand the test of time in the Wilco catalog.
